Yes i agree with both creeper and Top Gunner. I think there should only be Super Shows. Forget about the agricultural shows. The Super Show at Newcastle a few years ago was fantastic and so was the Newcastle Show that OFA orgnised last year. This year it went back to the show society and it was crap...

oze, . I know the osbornes for years. Spoke to Les yesterday who said tha splash attracted heaps of people was always in the top 5 earners at Sydney. He also said flume rides are 2nd most poular in world after ferris wheels. All big shows and carnivals have them oversess.

Saw on the news last night that Brisbane show has no crowds and terrible atmosphere.

Cant remember when exactly but it was near Mudgee.

: Nearly all Octupus rides were shut down because of some accident at a small show in NSW where a little girl was killed. Not sure what happened but gave the ride a really bad name. Shame as its an excellent ride.

From speaking to some showies I gather the road rules in Australia are over the top for them especially as they dont travel as many miles as the transport trucks. America has similar distances to Australia. I cant see how the Ferris Wheel can be more dangerous to tow around in Australia then anywher...

I heard through one of the workers that the big Wheel is not being let to travel on Australian roads because of the size of it. If this is correct how is it that they manage to tow large rides all over America and Europe and not in Australia.
