Anyone know what east coast rides are heading over this year? Mega Drop I am guessing, what others?

12 and unders are free when accompanied by an adult for the whole week.

Was just wondering who owns the Splashdown ride? I couldn't find any reference to it on Show West's website but that could just mean it isn't available for hire.

I thought it came from the east? I'm positive it's not a Show West attraction.

Hey all,

Was down at the Showgrounds yesterday while my partner was attending an group interview for work within the show as counter hand for food and beverages,while I was there I showed her around sideshow alley while giving her a tour lol.

Had a look to see what's there and tested out my camera on my iphone4 of some rides in set-up and complete so far we have;

Super Trooper (hadn't visited the show since 2004)

Skywalker (recently arrived yesterday)
Hurrancaine (Marchs) * yet to come after doing Kellerberrin Show

Looks like a good line up it's a shame XXXL went to Melbourne instead of Perth lol.

It belongs to Mitro Enterprises,not 100% sure if it did was owned by Amusement Services...can anyone confirm..

Also today whilst roaming round the Showgrounds after my induction working in the browns-chill kiddieland from saturday,Luke and his gang putting together Skywalker arm and backdrop,also mentioned 20c machines being put together next to dodgems and Nitro.

Final note Chris arrived into the Showgrounds with his hurrancaine after a short trip into Kellerberrin (250kms East of
Perth) for it's small agricultural show

Can't wait less than five days to go!

Just a questions what's going to be in between Thunderbolt and Wave Swinger (Show West),there's a massive gap in between the both of them. Pehaps TPA's twin flip?

Or the fact that this latest and greatest ride to WA was actually here many, many years ago and was demolished because some guy died on it?

So Australia has 2 "Fastest rides"???- Rage and Thunder Bolt. Obviously this claim to fame has been verified by some sort of 'speed detection device' ?(eg: speed camera) Sounds like a gimmick to get riders on!.

Scorpion was also and is still claimed to be Australia's fastest ride too... But then again Tower of Terror II at Dreamworld goes 161k/ph (Verified as well) Even though it operates now at around 156k/ph
