Does anyone have a list of rides Durkins has owned or operated in the past?

Durkins as in Alan Woodall: chaos, claw, gravirtron, dodgems, sizzler, Rocket, tilt and a few other. Phil has worked sling shot, super bowl, music trip plus more.

Yeah thanks, I did see it, however it wasn't running at the time.

Sorry, I should have been clearer, am interested to know what Stan Durkin has travelled over the years?

Believe at some stage he was also invovled in a small park, is that correct?

Cheers

I think Stan Durkin own's the chairlift that is at the Ekka. Along with other chairlifts at the other Capitals.

Stan and his brother were "Durkins", Allan Woodall, used to work for them, eventually he took over.

I remember Roc 'n' Roll, Hurricane, as well, their Hurricane was the first that I ever rode.

They were a large outfit in NSW, their gear was always the newest and best, around Sydney.

You are right about Phillip Durkin.

I love the CLAW from Durkins! Its such a fun ride. A little intense but great fun. I went on with my friend and this guy opposite me, i could see that he had puke in his mouth and im fully freaking out because if he went to scream or opend his mouth when it goes on the side it would go everywhere. But luckily he waited till the end and just ran over the edge and did it there :D

Speaking of the Claw, did anyone get up to Newcastle Show last weekend? I'd be interested to hear how it all went, well I hope! NC is the biggest event for OFA Show Star and I think it was the second event for the former Adelaide Mad Mouse.

Yeah I heard Newcastle went off this year which is good. Apparently the Unlimited rides passes were a big hit. I think the prices were reasonable too, especially when purchased before the show began. Matterhorn, did you operate the Claw at Sydney too?
