Yeh know what you mean Princess, just under 2 weeks now.

The four coasters are in there at the moment getting set-up. Pirate's Revenge had the footprint all leveled out yesterday, now all the crane work will happen today. Most of the main parts of the ride should be up by tomorrow. Taipan, Crazy Coaster and Fear are also getting set-up. Chant's Rock N Roll is parked on its position and also I think the Space Roller is there aswell.

I know what you mean! Last year that song You Spin Me Right Round by Flo Rida was the song I heard on a lot of the rides and it was great!

Can't wait until the RES and will hopefully be there on the first day for the rist band offer.

Luke should have some good new tunes for the show this year, copied pretty much my entire iPod to his laptop at Moomba

They weren't playing them at Lithgow that's forsure, just had mainstream going until I put on some of my music.

Another thing to, this must be the shittest lead up to a Sydney Show I've ever seenhere on the forums,disappointing it's this dead these days...

I for one am very excited about this year's RES and am most probably heading out there this Thursday morning. I flew into Australia earlier today and I'm ready for some serious carnival riding!

Went in this morning after pulling down at Camden last night. Fantasy Cups got set-up first thing then positioned and set-up the Rockin' Tug, took a bit more time to squeeze that into position. The top Pirate's Revenge sign got put up this arvo, had a new chaser box fitted and looks great. Most of the gear was there set-up except for a few. Sea Circus, Haunted Hotel, Sky Flyer, Sky Walker, Techno Jump, Zipper and Breakdance arrived today. Wave Swinger and Slingshot were starting set-up. Ranger was parked just inside the gates and Fear was going through its paces, and has been set-up the right way around this year. I'm heading back in for a short time in the morning but this is all I got today:

Was at the Showground this morning for a bit but didn't get any pics or anything because the visit was unplanned; I was just in the area with someone so thought we'd drop by. I couldn't get too close but did hear the carnival being set up which was good and I think Fear was operating.

Will be visiting on Thursday morning as previously mentioned and will probably ride No Limit among others. If you see me around, come and say G'day! I may also head back once more before I return to Samoa on Easter Sunday.

Yes that was Fear being put through it's paces, has been the last few days and don't blame them. The engineers from Italy are there too if any problems do arise. Was watching it yesterday too and the loop isn't shaking as much as it was last year, good to know they've packed it a bit better.

And no didn't get any set-up photos found myself busy catching up with a few people and just had to go in and get a few things.

Anyone that is coming down to the show and wants to come say hello or introduce yourself, pop down to the Power Surge as that's what I'll be working

Yes chocked up, but packing (thinner pieces of wood/material) to stabalise the base of the coaster, could notice it when the car was going through its cycles. As I said, the loop was shaking no where near as bad as last year
