that was a crazy idea putting the rides on roof tops. I guess there roofs would have been rated.

no it was wittingslows and now dean davis and yes it has been owned by pinks the force 10

Seen these photo's before.... amazing.... having Ranger along with Rainbow together... no wonder Wittingslow owned the most HUSS rides in the world at one stage....
funny to see a ray missing off the sun aswell! Miss the angels too!

Ahh! Pinks' Force 10. I remember going on it when it first came to Rocky in the late 80's, it was one of the fastest rides at the time. Shame it doesn't travel up this way anymore. Don't think much of it's new name now:Extreme Force.

Just noticed also, is there a Force 10 sign on the front of Durkin Amusements ticket box or do my eyes deceive me?? I can see a Hurricane entrance sign to the right of the Durkins box, as they did have a Hurricane with dark blue carriages at one stage. W.T.F.??? I have a feeling that the Force 10 was first owned by Durkins then sold onto Pinks. Any ideas people?

Where is the ex-Witts Enterprise now? And also that double Ranger? Who's Hurri was that? Who owns them now, if anyone??? I think the others have been covered in other forums...

ex witts enterprise sold to china, double ranger sold to o'niells also rainbow too. zipper now owns by dean davis. pirate and breakdance still owns by witts. mad mouse at china which owned by les osborne that i pull down and maintance the tracks.

Amazing photos cheers for the find. Looked like they were the golden days, would've been great to see a show lineup like that. Never knew Double Ranger had that paint scheme... not a fan if you ask me. And yes pretty sure Durkin's first owned Force 10 before selling to Pink's.

Thanks for that TopGunner, I remember Durkins bringing their Hurricane to Rocky one year and then the next year Force 10 was in the same place. Durkins mustn't have owned the Force long before selling it to Pinks though?
