I'm heading off to the Family Show this coming Sunday and will do a review and try to get some pics for you. There hasn't been any real media coverage since the Show began last Thursday although radio stations 2GB and Mix 106.5 are apparently offering support in some form. Apart from the carnival, I'm keen to check out the computer fair.

Yeah i agree bout time for an upgrade i think

I think OFA do a good job with the small and relatively old collection of rides and sideshows they have.
I would like to see the Family Show event survive because it offers a good alternative to families who love the RES but just can't afford the $33.00 entry fee.
Although this will probably never happen, I'd love to see the Guild work alongside OFA to make the Family Show something really special. One idea could be to get all the rides not attending RES into the Moore Park area, there's more than enough room on the right side of the showring! Possible attractions could include, Freestyle, Insanity, Space ball, Hurricane, Tilt, Miami Music Trip, Ski Jump, Rainbow, Turbo, Pirate Ship, Hangover, Kamikaze, Octopus, Sybre Party, Paratrooper etc etc.
I know I am only dreaming but it is good to do that sometimes...
