What do you use?
Just a curious question, I'd just like to ask those who take photos and videos, what sort of camera they are using. Just wondering and interested.
Cheers

Re: What do you use?
Good topic Top Gunner - I'll start...
Most of my photos are taken with a Nikon D80 SLR (various lenses)

I also use a Cannon Ixus 85 (nice and compact to carry in the pocket and a bit more anonymous)

ps. Princess, thanks always for your kind words

Re: What do you use?
I use the Olympus FE-240. Only 7.1 mgpxls but it gets the job done.

Re: What do you use?
Pentax *ist DL with an 18-55mm (wide) lense
Considering either buying a telephoto lense or chopping it in and getting a new body/wide/tele pack from one of the big boys
Government is doing some 30% tax rebate for small business purchases over $1k so I might just sell the Pentax

Re: What do you use?
Yeh I thought you were using the Nikon D80 Zamperla, look like a great camera. Thanks for your imput everyone else. I just recently bought a new camera last weekend after Camden. I bought the Sony Cybershot DSC W150: http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/prod2804.htm
Upgraded from my first purchase of a Olympus FE-210: http://www.cnet.com.au/olympus-fe-210-339274318.htm
My new camera has video with sound so I'll try and get videos from most events I get to.

Re: What do you use?
i used to use a nokia N95 both the 1gb version and the 8gb version but unfortunately they are now both dead.
i have recently purchased the Nikon D60 SLR with various lenses still getting used to how to use it the basics are simple just the other stuff is hard. most of my pics on facebook are used by a similar camera.

Re: What do you use?
Most of my shots are with my Nokia N95, just easier. But if I'm going somewhere I would normally take my Canon IXUS i Zoom. Then if I want better photos take a Canon EOS 350D, which I have been very pleased with how larger photo's come out.

Kate the Nikon D60 is a nice SLR to get the hang of things. Definitely plenty to learn. You may want to consider joining up with a local photography club. It's a quick way to learn a lot and maybe make some new friends along the way (and are basically free)
