Mattie, if the community can't help with the logo, look at http://www.99designs.com

Re: AAF uniform
I was / am a big fan of the current logo.
Logo design is quite complicated (and can use up a LOT of time to achieve good results if you lack formal training on the programs used to make them, I speak from experience!)
I think the Aussie map outline and simplicity is a really strong point of the previous one. I would like to see some of those elements incorporated into a new one.
I'm sure a few forum members here could conjour up some very professional results. (you know who you are)

Re: AAF uniform
I mean the concept of the map is great... no harm in an updated one... it could look awesome

Re: AAF uniform
Looks really good huss! Should the logo or shirt be a bright colour so we get recignised?

Re: AAF uniform
Mmm... i'd love to see the Australia remain green, or perhaps a blue. Just depends on the final color for the site I guess. We could maybe have a Black and White version, and a Color version of the logo...

Re: AAF uniform
Hi Huss,
I like the concept but it's a little strong on detail and could struggle at small sizes. The mix of three different font weights is distraction and I would like to see what it looks like with a little more letter spacing and larger line height.

Yeah... what he said.
I would actually like to see the Australia stay green, green and gold are Australias colours.

Re: AAF uniform
I agree with Vee's comments. The wheel and lethal weapon look good, but the other 2 things could be excluded I reckon.
Great job though (given it probably took you probably whipped it up in a few minutes)
I like the southern cross motif how it's a negative space of the Australia. very affective.

Re: AAF uniform
I reakon a green shirt, like the colour of the logo now, and the logo in white in the top cornrer of the front of shirt.
I don't think you want it to stand out too much, and green doesn't seem to be a popular colour amoungst showmens current uniforms.. I think...
But it's matt's show, what ever you like mate I'm happy with!!

Re: AAF uniform
Not bad Chris. We will have to chat about coming up with a new concept. I have attached a couple of photos of our old shirts.

Re: AAF uniform
Like the AAF, says it all and very recognisable imo.
Re: AAF uniform
Great work on the logo designs. I really like the orange one. It's a cleaner simpler; more resolved professional looking logo. But I do like them both. Just think the second one has more strenghts.
Re: AAF uniform
While I appreciate that logo design is a very difficult process without a creative brief to begin with, the second one stinksForce10 wrote:Just think the second one has more strenghts.

I think the amusement aspect of the logo needs to me more metaphorical or a more classical ride/attraction.
