hi guys has anyone ever worked at the show or fairs let me know how it worked out for you?

I have once or twice lol, it is a very good experiance for any one to try at least once.

I have. Worked on(well didn't actually do too much)on the Top Gun but I just sold tickets, music, spruiking and all the ride sounds. Was really fun. Just did it for a night. Bout 3pm to 9pm I did

Yes I devoted a few years of my life to carnivals and show circuit, the better years too.

Well the guy I worked for was an A...hole, but he is gone to heaven now, so dont want to talk to ill of the dead, but most of the time I worked very hard, for very little money, does that sound like a dictatorship, (suppose it does lol), most of the time I had a heap of fun, with some dramas, (whats a carnival or show, without them) I met many good people, who I still know today.

Not long Ridefan, about 4 years, I started at 15, ran away with the circus lol, clearly the better years were when I was young and beautiful :shock: :shock: :lol:

ok i get it i did not see last post it did not come up till i posted the last one. i think its alot better now tho the people iv talked to say they love it and the moneys ok

Ridefan, we are talking many years ago, the money was nothing like it is today, there was no set pay, the person I worked for was not a particularly caring individual, especially where his staff were concerned.
