Ok, 13, mmmm, what can I say, you of course are aware that it will change the way you speak, your teeth will grind down, there is a huge chance of infection, cause your mouth houses the most germs in you body, you will chew on it, which will become a habit, looks grouse.
But dont let me tell you dont get it done

yeah i think they are awesome. its practically painless and chances of infection are VERY low with proper oral hygine, thus including brushing around the piercing, gargling with diluted listerine and gargling salt water. sea salt. if you do all of this it wont get infected. first few days are most painful as your body is saying get this out of me. your tongue can swell up to almost double its normal size and will be quite sore the first few days.. eat lots of ice and drink cold drinks like slurpees, slushys etc. im really doing alot of research on this and have found so much information. i have heard very few of piercings gone wrong. the procedure itself is quick and ALMOST 100% pain free. the tongue being a muscle you really wont feel much at all. BUT, pierce it in the wrong spot and risk hitting a blood vessel and possibly bleeding to death. chances are very VERY slim. but thats what can happen if you do it to yourself or something stupid. ill tell you guys how it goes in 9 days!

hey guys
ive had my tongue pierced for 2.5 years its not as bad as people make it out to be u have a lisp when u first get it done till you get used to it then u talk normal as far as employment is concerned if they have had a problem with it they have either asked me 2 put a clear bar in or take it out if u don't flick your teeth then u wont really have to many dramas with it. when i got mine done up the sunshine coast it bled a bit but as far as pain went it wasn't to bad.i couldn't eat chunky food or soup for a few days they say no alcohol and defiantly NO beer for 2-3 weeks as it can cause a yeast infection in ya tongue.if u r a girl and have had ya tummy pierced then its hurts alot worse then ya tongue does. you cant talk much till the swelling goes down well u can but u don't make it very clear so its usually best that u don't.

I ám'the coolest mum lol, though my kids dont think so.
, daughter is an emo, she hates the music I like, she heard my ring tone last night and nearly puked lol, (which, by the way is "cry for me", I am also liking electric Feel and Forever, too at the moment), oh well if you cant embrass you children, you are a failure at parenthood
