No, it was videos of a TANGO, or something else whatever it was called, not ours. Skywalker got stuck the first day of the show, we were on the Rainbow waiting to finish boarding, and we were all turned around watching them try to get the damn thing down.Hurricane wrote:Huss, in regards to the Skywalker vid you are talking about... was it the actual unit we have here or another KMG tango? I have seen several videos of the Tango failing... but I have never seen or even HEARD of Space Roller having any issues apart from the vandalism at Moomba. With No Limit it is such a powerful ride... maybe Elwin went a bit too hard on the controls trying to make someone seedy...
and about Space Roller... I heard it was a crain that damaged the signs.... doubt anything between russel or elwyn... both rides did fantastic at Moomba...

hey all,
still no sign of those signs! when is was there yesterday they were testing a few rides, megadrop, hardrock, space roller, raupan bahn, and the skymaster did a few turns. unfortunately i had my camera, but the batteries died in it, i musta left it on...
but it is certainly looking like a ripper of a showground!

So I'm guessing Ali Baba any day for you Hurri over a big wheel
I'm guessing Jim and Jeanette have their canteen's there. But yeh, it does do alot of shows to. Doesn't surprise me that there is no Ali Baba or Rainbow there. Enjoy the show everyone. Hope to see lots of good reviews and photos

very very disappointing news
Went to the ekka tonight after work, to have a good look, only to find that TPA's Kamikaze is no longer on the ekka grounds, it has been dismantled and moved away and two crappy games have filled its place.
I spoke with a TPA showie that was standing with their musik express ride, and he said that there was something wrong with it's computer. something about slight burns on one of the boards. This extreme move to remove the ride from the grounds demonstrates TPA's commitment to safety. I guess ever since the incident with twin flip, they don't wish to take any chances. but its a real shame we won't get to experience it. He also said he was disappointed cus they had just put an awesome new light show on it..
He said it will be back next year, i wish they brought twin flip to fill the spot or just anyother ride would have been good.
showtime's haunted hotel looks very impressive! the refurb has done the old haunted mansion wonders! all the rides are looking fantastic, its a real credit to the showmen and women.
enjoy ur day at the ekka tomorrow guys! i wish i didn't have to work so i could meet u all.
cheers, Force 10.

hopefully Fabbri or Sartori, whoever is taking care of this model will be able to have the problems sorted asap. I wonder if the ride was booked for Melbourne Show.... I know that STEREOSONIC08 is going ahead, last year that featured all of TPA's rides, and Hard Rock... so will be interesting to see what shows up there in early december.
