mine would have to be when i was on twin flip at the sydney easter show. my harness was so loose i was lifting about 10cm every time i went upside down. i told the ride attendant that it was way too loose before it started but he just said youll be fine, you wont fall out. never been on it since..
Mine would've been when I first went on O'Neill's Ranger. I think the height restriction is about 132cm. I was just that and everytime the ride swung and we were facing towards the ground, I would be falling out of my seat and I had to push myself back with my feet on the bottom of the lap bars. But now I'm taller, I'm better off now. But it was scary
Hurricane at St Kilda festival, I have never been on such a dizzying mess before! It takes a fair bit to get me nauseous or dizzy.... this was just ridiculous as to how bad it was... it may be a classic, but I don't rate that ride whatsoever.
Also will never go on a Huss Pirate two cycles in a row... hahah it's the most nauseating feeling...
would rather do space roller at full speed on both accounts
i love space roller. my bad experience on it wont push me away. it may have been painful but its one of my favourites. i could think i could definately do 2 in a row on space roller. i did about 4 in a row on speed before they told me to have a 15 minute break. but i still felt fine!
Ughh... HUSS Pirates make me ill too! I think I am starting to get Princess syndrome! More and more rides are making me sick by the day! Even this past weekend, Shockwave made me feel dizzy... however for the person on the ride before me it made them more than dizzy! Isn't that right X 648?
i love hard rock! i havnt been on for about 3 years now! i remember when it was at lunapark a while ago. it was the first time i have ever seen it. and i rode it over and over again. hah. i will definately ride hard rock next year. i almost did this year, but i saw space roller had no que and was about to lift of. so i ran over and gave that a go for like the 6th time in about 2 hours!
Lol Topgunner, I am partial to a dunk, hope to have heaps of support around me lol, Ben, Zamperla, Huss and anyone else who makes it to Sydney next year.
hahaha Princess Mega Drop is quite deceiving....
Really gives a good push from the top... still get a little nervous when riding it..... give Sky Walker ago... not scary at all!
Huss, if you ever manage to drag Princess on a ride that flips upside down (not including hard rock) I will give you $100 dollars worth of Rainbow tickets! But the all important question is who will be riding with Princess on Mega Drop, and who will be on bucket brigade
Agreed about Mega Drop. Rode it for the first time at Royal Easter. It sure fires you down to earth in a rush. As far as freefalls go, I'm sure this Fabbri make has its fans. Perfect magnetic braking - definately leaves your stomach up the top for a few glorious seconds.
That is the beauty of it. Before you know it, it's over and you're back to earth with adrenaline shaking through your body.
The 35 dergee day that we experienced was way over the top, I like the heat, but that was unrelenting, made the thunderstorm that Zamperla and I limped back to the car in, so refreshing.
