will be going to the showgrounds tomorrow, 3rd time, and also will be there on the last day.
Will ride NO LIMIT tomorrow... soo eager to do it now
and also, in 06, lol the girls on the rainbow thought it was funny we kept riding it, so they ended up just giving us free rides, they were the best crew!

am i wrong in saying that the Melb show has really turned to sh#t!! i mean long gone are the days of the turbo, 2 zippers and a whole bunch of other classics etc!! but this year is a disgrace!! i know the show stands for much more than its midway but this year is the smallest and worst show ever! thank god for No Limit! the only ride any balls at all (seemed to ride much harder this year)!! anyway im sorry if i offend anyone, just really disapointing considering the $27.00 to get in. lol ill shut up now

After last year, I made a decision to not go to the RMS this year...first time I would not go in 25years. Since I started seeing the ads around the place, I started to feel weak...the show is like a drug to me.....but given the comments here about this year, and the lack of horses, I have managed to keep myself away. I will probably return next year...if I don't go to the Ekka instead.princess wrote:Dont be sorry avp, that is what everyone else has been saying,

There's nothing chicken about not riding No Limit. So long as you enjoy what you do ride and have a good time at the show, that's all that matters. I know people who are ride enthusiasts like me and who spend all day in the carnival area at the big shows but wouldn't consider riding anything if their lives depended on it. I was also like this; fascinated by the rides but too worried to ride anything. The only reason this changed was because I got a scholarship to do a Space Camp in the US and we had to ride all the scary simulators to complete the course. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't terrified at first and overcoming the fear was a major achievement for me. Now I really enjoy riding thrill rides and family rides and also enjoy walking around a carnival, taking in the sounds and smells that make it such a unique experience.
