Have heard about a new ride for the Pickett's, if its what I have been told it is will be a great ride.

Yeh be good to see a ride like this, I've never ridden or seen one of the original Orbitors so this'll be a first. At one stage I heard it could've been going into LPS over the holidays but I think that plan changed. Hopefully it may be at Hawkesbury

I'd kill to see it at RES or EKKA this year. Looks like this could be Picketts replacement for Twin Flip. I have never rode the Oribitor before, but seen it many years ago (Cyclone) and it looked like great fun!

Scream Scream It's Extreme, I hope the ride gets on Sydney aswel I think it would be a very good ride to add to there line up. I rode one at the Florida State Fair and it was awesome.

I rode one at Creamfields in the UK last year. Longest ride cycle I have ever been on... one of the best rides ever. Definitely a good move and quite a easy setup/pull down.

Do you know if its a 4 or 5 arm model?

The ride is a 4 arm version, reason being the 6 arm doesn't comply with Australian road standards. The ride is Brand new, yes it will be at Hawksbury. We will have to wait and see about Sydney.

Ben I would describe it as a breakdance looking ride, but airborne, spinning with carriages turning, but it does not go very high off the ground, spin is very fast.

It's just like the old Tivoli orbitor, just with seats similar to Durkin's Claw (2 across instead of 4). It's a total of 24 riders per cycle. It's a much faster version of the Orbitor.

so the same as the energy storms action with different cars? the cars dont flip like the Twin flip?

Similar concept to the Energy Storm but the ride runs faster from what i've observed in videos. However when I rode Energy Storm last year that thing was FLYING compared to what I remembered. And Princess, i'll take you for a whirl on it at EKKA

It has arrived first show in Australia will be Hawksbury, look out cause its Extreme.

I'll be green with envy hearing about this ride as it'll be ages before I can experience it for myself. What a boon for Hawkesbury having it as it's first outing and probably a disappointment for the RAS who would've loved to promote it on their attraction list.
