Help me to ID the year of this generator

It's a Newage Stamford generator type SC244D with an output of 415/460 volts, made in England for Newage Engineers PTY Limited.
This generator is showing it's age and should need an overhaul. It's muffler is very rusty and should need renewing too.
Does anyone know what year this generator was manufactured in?
