Racked Rides/Shed Dweller Pics

Hey guys, One thing I've noticed we don't see much is pics of our beloved rides racked in their sheds, or dismantelled during maintainance, or the trucks that actually drag these rides around, or even pics of them on the road. Maybe it doesn't interest anyone else, but if anyone has any pics, lets see them? What about some old shed dwellers?? Ones that havent come out of their shed for a few years?? We do have a few operators on here now, so drag ya camera out! hehe

Thanks guys,

I'm with you Josh, I'd like to see some Golden Oldies racked up. Maybe a few pictures of the rainbow would be good. Hope to see some photos contributed

Last year... recently when i've been down, you can see Breakdance and Pirate racked in their yard... mostly junk and old Wittingslow trailers around... they used to keep their rides at the showgrounds....

This Dodgem track had to have a major rebuild after the accident- thankfully driver and passenger walked away from it.
Thankfully no serious damage to driver or Loop after this one
Yeah both the Tilt and Trabant are stored inside at the back of the depot sheds, awaiting their return one day. The Galaxy is loaded on trailers and containers- covered outside. The station and cars are inside. I will see what photo's I can dig up

Ok, hopefully those two classics and the Galaxi will return to New Zealand Midways one day. Lucky the looper wasn't damaged and that dodgem track was very unfortunate. Just looking at the setting where the Track had the incident, the mountainous terain of NZ where they were driving. Thanks for even more photos kiwi

Yep in nice and tight- within the inch in some cases. Bit of planning involved- always a problem when you need the back one first

fantastic photos. Mahon's is clearly a well run operation - always great to see photos of things in storage and refurb.
I always wondered how the Superloop train locked into the track - I can see it sure is held in well from those photos.

Not really sure on size, they have two sheds on one side of the railway line, which is the photo's of the tilt, just used for storage during the winter. Then another larger one with a fenced yard on the other side of the line. Thats the one with the Trabant. That yard is used for all the maintance, living etc
Not the best pic sorry

If you have ever driven through Ngarauwahia you couldn't miss it
