I rang up yesterday, bloody usless, shows how crap Luna Park sydney is. All rides are supplied by Joylands Better Amusement Hire:
Round Up
Dodgem Cars
Roc N Tug
Crazy Cars.

Bloody ridiculous, they have a dodgem track big enough here, and they have the Huss UFO, why have a Round Up. At least get Joyland's Hurri and Cha Ch instead of bringing in rides that are already there.

Id love so see zipper back at Lunapark.

Zipper won't be at Luna Park ever, well probably never. It doesn't go well there for some reason. Speed is owned by Goldenway Amusement's(Broderick Pavier). I'd say it'll be there in summer with Power Surge again. I think there will be some good rides there again in summer

Yeah you're right Zamperla. Perhaps someone complained about the noise of the Hurricane although it usually operated with something muffling the sound which ruined the whole ride experience in my oppinion! Ordinarily the Power Surge goes to LPS too but it's travelling through QLD at the moment I think. Has the Zipper been to Luna Park previously? Why didn't it do well there?

Apparently Zipper was there some time ago(not sure when). I was told by a couple of staff, and it wasn't popular. And I don't think someone complained about the Hurri, Joylands can turn down the air pressure and the sound of bursts so its not too loud. They do this at LP and at the Xmas carnival. Other than that, it's actually pretty loud. And yeh, PS is up Qld. But a very crap lineup of rides

When the Zipper first debuted in Australia it was at LPS. The unit in question is the Ex Watkins Zipper which is now owned by Johnny Castle and is sitting basically just outside my front door!

if its basically outside your door... take a damn photo, and contribute other than post nonsence

Chris, It's a touch hard to get photos when you are constantly working. And saying that my posts are rubbish, do you care to explain that? I was just answering someones question about the Zipper at LPS, So I gave them a bit of a history behind it. Is there anything wrong with that?

Well I am accessing AAF on my mobile from the ticket box of Shockwave right now. I will try to get some photos tomorrow morning of the rides. But I can't guarantee anything.

Redcliff show is rather quiet today but I am hoping it picks up tonight or over the weekend.
