With northern run now in Townsville the ekka is just over a month away. Does anyone have any thoughts on what the line-up might look like?

Be suprised if it does go, can't really see it going though. Can't think of any new rides for the show either, unless the Mixer or Polyp get on

Is this in place of skyview wheel or durkins? Will be interesting if we do get 3 wheels this year. I also wonder what is going to replace Wave Swinger. It would be nice to see Cyber Party at a capital or the hurricane but I don't see it happening. I would also kill to see No Limit or Thunderbolt make a return.

Last time I was at Darling Harbour, Skyview was still operatering there, but that was about three weeks ago

Has FEAR been anywhere since RES?

sky view was not at EKKA last year either, gills wheel was in its place in the kids area, so i would have an educated guess that the davis wheel will replace that, i would be suprised to see many new rides this year, however there seems to be some space to fill with no wave swinger, maybe it will be the return of one of the classics?

I dont think insanity and sling shot are going this year eaither.

Hmmm... that will leave a decent chunk of room for a new ride or 3. I wouldn't be surprised if Mega Drop gets back on in the place of Wave Swinger this year. And hopefully No Limit and Thunderbolt will take up the space of Insanity and Slingshot. However I am not sure on Thunderbolt considering we have Rock n Roll most likely returning this year. Maybe Raupen Bahn might get back on this year? I know what I am hoping for though... Hurricane or Turbo

Think O'Neill's have been trying to get Fear repaired in time as there may be a chance it could be on, not 100% but that's something I've heard. Good to hear Dean's new wheel is on and last I heard too the Sky View was still in Darling Harbour

I thought O'Neills didn't put any rides on at EKKA, could this be the first time WAVE SWINGER gets on.....

It wouldn't surprise me if Wave Swinger got on this year. However once March's one comes out of Luna Park it will be the one back at the EKKA again, as far as i'm aware March's own the ground-space for EKKA there.

Thought O'Neill's take up the Caterpillar Coaster usually? You'd think they'd take up their Wave Swinger, seeing as though it would have a good chance of getting on

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Caterpillar Coaster. It really depends though on the ground-space, as to weather the Swinger will get on.

i didnt think showmen owned ground at the royals. as there a contracted show? maybe i was wrong

Yeh was gonna say the same thing aswell, didn't think showmen owned their own ground at the Royals. Also was in Darling Harbour tonight, Sky View is still there which was a bit suprising, wouldn't think they'd put 3 wheels on at the show
