good news, was driving past Elitch Gardens yesterday and noticed that the rainbow is running again. Seems as if they were able to fix the ride during the off season.

sad news for rainbow fans here in Denver, while visiting Elitch Gardens the other day, the site where the rainbow sat was fenced off and the arm that rotates had been removed. I asked guest relations about it and they said it is in the process of being removed and might have a new ride to replace it...

Elitches isn't in the middle of downtown, more on the edge of downtown. It's rather ironic though as the park moved to its current location due to being landlocked at its old location, but now that they've been at the new location for 10 years, they're more landlocked than they were before. Elitches is open everyday right now, and the Rainbow is still there, just rode it a couple of weeks ago.
