How many of these rides are there in Australia ? Every operator seems to have one, some have two. There are probably now atleast 30 units. Some are Australian built, some are from the US and there is Goldenway's UK model.

The latest import being a Sizzler from the US brought in by Pavier Amusements from the NSW Central Coast.

Pavier's/Goldenway don't own their Sonacase Super Sizzler anymore, was sold to a S.A showmen last year sometime

Yes George Pink does have the Whizzer, don't know it's actual name. Aussie Amusement's owner is George Kret. And Better Amusement's (Joyland's) Cha Cha isn't Marinovitch, it's Melonas

the sizzler listed as mine is owned by my brother at affordable rides, the Geesman *possible wrong spelling* family also have a cha cha and party time amusements also have one with a full deck and ABC fun rides have a scrambler and so does KAY DEE promotions, there is also one in the rocky area that was known as the jurassic sizzler i think, well thats all i got.

yes that is right, his sizzler has a full loading deck and can be set up on an angle when the wheels are taken out, it was imported by tony smanns in SA, i believe it is wisdom built

KAY DEE promotions is run by Micheal Thomas, he also has an avalanche (music trip) and a majestic built dodgem track along with other smaller rides as well

I wasn't going to include park models as these are quite often portables on lease-hire etc. I had forgotten about this one. I will include it, since I don't think there are any other park units in Australia.

I recall previous examples of park units, all Sizzlers, were found in Leisureland Fair (circa 1987, VIC), Alpine Toboggan Park (VIC), Ulladulla Arcade (NSW), Down Underland (ACT), but all of these have since been removed and most likely trailerised.

I think I remember seeing the Funland Ulladulla Sizzler racked on a trailer some years ago just after the redevelopment started. Was a fast unit that one, oh great memories there The new redevelopment of Funland which opened up a few years ago now is sh**, only good thing there now is the Laser Skirmish maze
